My Maker Interests
My professional efforts include all aspects of 3D model interchange, visualization, printing and scanning using the Web.
I lead specification development in the X3D Graphics Working Group for the non-profit Web3D Consortium. I also serve as Principal Investigator for the X3D Model Exchange at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey California.

The X3D Model Exchange shares models in formats compatible with 3D printers. Partner commands offer unique capailities for Navy and Marine Makers to share, view and print 3D models. Supporting Fab Labs and training facilities helps new Makers learn how to apply this powerful technology.
